John Louis Albert Samerston, the sixth Earl of Inswick was the last Minister of Foreign Affairs under the Grand Empire of the Shield. Lord Inswick was a member of the Conservative Coalition of Iansisle and the third ranking member of the government after the Earl of Dirwisham and Edward Tarriff. Like the other officials, he was kidnapped by the corporatists and forced to enforce their will during the Corporate Yoke.

Lord Inswick did manage to get a message about what was happening in Iansisle through to Golden Agate, Larkinia, which caused Charles Bradsworth to hurry back to the city. However, Lord Inswick was caught and put to death by the corporate powers on 25 June 1952.
