Biography
Jonathon Crusade was born in the capital, Zhongshan, in the year 1980, the second son of the Emperor, Levan Crusade. From youth, Jonathon lived a pampered life, receiving a world class education and given the title of Crown Prince after the ascension of his father in the year 2000 and the death of his older brother five years later. However, Jonathon Crusade observed quietly along with father, the slow deterioration and stagnation of the Five Civilized Nations economy.
When his father ascended the throne in 2000, Jonathon served as one of his father's advisers, slowly working alongside ministers and economists to revitalize the economy. But all the efforts came to an end, when the global economy slumped after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks that struck the United States of America.
Exasperated with the snail pace with which his legislation was being moved through the government, Levan Crusade attempted to gain control of the government by calling for a convention to revise the Constitution. Thus began a deadly twenty year war that devastated the Five Civilized Nations.
When the civil war began, Jonathon Crusade joined his father in rallying the supporters to the side of the , believing that the war would end quickly. But he was swiftly proven wrong as the war dragged on.
When the war finally ended after twenty years of brutal warfare, Jonathon Crusade had distinguished himself in the war, serving on the frontlines as well as organizing the pro-Monarchy forces.
When his father abruptly died, killed by a brain tumor, on the eve of his recoronation as the August Emperor, Jonathon Crusade took the throne, coronated as the first August Emperor and also the successor of a long line of the House of Cala.
Jonathon Crusade took the throne on a wave of optimism that spread throughout the Five Civilized Nations. Seeing that the land had been devastated by the twenty year long war, Jonathon Crusade began seeking a way to rebuild his homeland. With a sigh of desperation, Jonathon Crusade set his hopes on colonizing space. Research progressed swiftly as the Five Civilized Nations's Trinity University of Advanced Aerospace and Aeronautics made massive advances in technology and into space.
When Jonathon Crusade died in 2056 at the age of seventy-six, Jonathon Crusade left behind a nation reinvigorated and making broad strides in space technology.
Within one hundred sixty-five years of his death, the Five Civilized Nations sent its first colony ships into space...
