Kasnyia

The Empire of Kasnyia is a nation based in the Asian Continent, with territories all over the globe, and is currently the only world-wide nationstate in existance.

Birth of a nation

The entity of Kasnyia first showed up in recorded history some 2100 years ago as the Land of Casin, where Indo-Europeans had settled just north of the Deccan plateau. Soon after, Alexandrian scholars and historians recorded a people known as the Casinians who lived along the banks of the Ganges River. For a few hundred more years, there were mentions, footnotes, and other writings regarding this land and peoples in India without any details until about 900 years before the present when Daksinian diplomats described in detail the Casinian Union, which was a loose confederation of Casinian states united by a need for mutual defense against Daksinian conquerers from the south, barbarians from the east, and warlords from the west. It was around 600 years from the present that the first united entity appeared: the Kingdom of Casinia.
