King William Poplar Nobenfelt 1827-1896. 63rd king of Popeleoma Del Signe. Official Title: His Royal Majesty King of the Popleomas and its Lands.

Overview

Born as the Second child of Sven V, Ernest grew up in Troyes Palace and would result in a line of monarchs being born at the palace's clean room. His gender naturally placed him ahead of sister who was 47 by the time he ascended in 1867. After the recent civil war, Sven VI had hoped to return the country back into normality.

Duma is Formed

However, the country no longer was what it seemed like before. The emerging middle classes and upper classes began demanding representation. A democratic party was formed in hopes of starting a revolution against the Monarchy and then the Duma was formed in 1869. The Duma first seated 383 persons and eventually grew as population increased. Today, the Duma remains an integral part of the Popeleomatoriate. Shortly there after, the Politiburo was formed as well as the Royal Cabinet and the King's Cabinet.

Spaden Natural Reserve

Upon returning from Paris in 1882, Sven VII ordered the designation of 2849 acres of land as natural reserve. He named it Spaden after his niece's dog. He would later name 3 more reserves between 1884 and 1891.

Assasination

On unification day, 1896, Sven VII's carriage was blow up before he had entered it. The blast had broken some of the windows outside the palace and killed 2 footmen. Shaken by the explosion, Sven VII was carried inside the palace and locked inside his room. Shots were heard from across the street and the windows in his room were damaged. He was wounded in the heart and bled to death on his bed.
