LBG Cinématographe is a digital channel exclusively featuring movies, though from 0600 to 0900, LBG Cinématographe displays "behind-the-scenes" specials and exclusive documentaries and interviews regarding cinema. LBG Cinématographe was founded in 2001 after excruciating controversery when LBG One displayed a series of "titillating, salacious films" late at night. A lobbying organization called Londinian Parents For Decency led the bid to create a seperate channel for these sort of features, and Parliament obliged by creating Cinématographe, which features movies rated G through R until 2400 hours, when more adult features are displayed from approximately 0100-0300.
