LBG One is the flagship channel of the Londinian Broadcasting Group. Launched as the LBG Telecast Service alongside LBG News24 on 5 November 1957, LBG One has been officially described as a channel for "premier programming and high-rated content". LBG One is more "mainstream" than its sister channels, LBG Two, LBG Three, LBG Four, and LBG Five. Popular programmes include the hit show Spooks, My Family, Absolute Power, and Extras. LBG One simulcasts with LBG News24 from 0100 to 0600, when The World Today appears until 0900. Afterwards, standard programming begins. Popular programmes from other LBG channels are often moved here.
