President Laylae Hachi of Kzuu Mai is the daughter of Aedi Hachi, War Secretary of Kzuu Mai, who was killed during the December War when a Free Eaglian Bomb landed on the Kzuu Maian Military Headquarters. Laylae Hachi was born three years after the Revolution, and showed an interest in the political affairs of her mother from an early age. Her mother died when she was thirty years of age, which devastated her, and her old political ambitions were forgotten. Her father, Jiyan Hachi, still lives.

However, her ambitions returned a few years later, and she was elected into the Kzuu Maian Senate when she was thirty-three. Laylae stood for presidency for the Socialist Party last year, won a landslide victory, and became Kzuu Mai’s youngest ever President (although this isn't much of an achievement in the newly democratic nation); the normally very close result between the two main parties was avoided because of her brilliance in the televised debates. She has two more years of office remaining before the next election. She is expected to stand again.
