Levias the Lion

Levias the Lion, along with Barik the Bold, was one of the first chieftains to invade the Czardaian plains. In the year 468, he led approximately a thousand warriors from the mountains in the north to invade the mostly-abandoned territory of the disintegrating Cvarken Empire, which by then held only the cities of Mariosz and Czarna. His invasion was the final blow to the already powerless Empire. Along with Barik he defeated the Cvarkens, causing them to flee over the seas. Then they rebuilt the city of Czarna, falling apart by that point. However, a crisis soon developed over who would rule the city-state. Levias had the larger army, and exiled Barik, who fled east to found Adarion on the cliffs. Levias ruled Czarna until 494, and is still legendary as one of the greatest leaders ever to arise in Czardas. A life-sized statue of him was unveiled for the renovation of Congress Hall in 1994, on the 1500th anniversary of his death.
