- Death penalty: Oppose
- Euthanasia: Support
- Gay marriage: Support
- Drugs: For the legalizing of drugs like marijuana, cocaine, etc.
- Welfare: Strongly supports welfare state
- Education: Opposes homeschooling and private schools, strongly supports government-run public schools.
- Immigration: Open borders, no regulation of immigration
- Religious beliefs: Separation of Church and State, somewhat anti-Christian
- Military: Favors small military, UN peacekeepers
The Liberal Party in Congress
The Liberal Party comprises the minority in both houses of Congress. In the Senate, 28% of the seats are held by Liberals, and in the House of Representatives, 32% of seats are Liberal-controlled.
