Formed in 1928 to counter the huge political divide between socialism and conservatism the Liberal Party has kept a reputation as the largest 'third party' in Bynter.

Currently fielding 69 MNPs the Liberal Party continually retains somewhere in the region of 30-80 seats. The party is currently at a low level of seats since their height in the 1950's. From 1954-1958 the Liberal Party formed their one and only Government. They did, however, form a Government in coalition with the Social Democrats from 1966 to 1978. Locally though the Liberal Party has earnt respect as a powerful force. It sits thirty-two percent of councillors throughout Bynter as of 2006.

The Liberals promote general economic and social liberalism. Seen as a common liberal party the Liberals believe in the importance of social freedom and the importance of human and civil rights. They do drift into common 'right wing' politics with their brand of economic liberalism. They have also provided a broad range of 'reform proposals' that include making Bynter a republic free from Royal rule. Additionally they have proposed dividing Bynter into administrative regions (including Vurt) and giving all a 'Local Assembly'. The Liberals have also pushed for taking away many laws that hinder the business including the complete removal of tax on business. This, along with their social beliefs, has given them a mixed support base that includes businessmen, the educated elite and generally worse off republicans.

Currently led by Marina Racanovic (the sole female party leader) who has proved popular with voters due to her welcoming and polite personality. She is well known for promoting civil rights and social liberalism throughout Bynter. Party President Predrag Koraksić Corax is seen as part of the opposite wing of the party. An ex-head of the succesful company (Bynter Technologies) Corax has proven popular with business leaders and is set to be a problem for the leading National Liberty Party (itself being conservative) at the next election.

The Liberals have experianced problems of outlining their official stand on several issues and have developed further problems with a very mixed support base.
