General Description

Libertarianism is, in general, a political philosophy that emphasizes individual rights and the exercise of free will.

Libertarianism in NationStates

Within the context of NationStates, individual rights are presented along three axes: personal rights, economic rights, and political rights (see also: UN Categories). Allowing the maximum level of rights or freedom along such an axis is characterized as being "libertarian."
