Introduction
The Oliverrian Soccer League started its activities in 2010 when the Oliverrian Soccer Association decided that it was time for a soccer league to devellop.
League History
League format
2010-2011
The league, at the time, was comprising 3 levels: 1st Division and second division each with 7 teams + a qualifier league. The Coupe Oliverrienne was given to the team that won the national cup. With this win, a second division team that was not supposed to promote in 1st division got to play in First division.
2012
With the Limbrogidlia secession, the Oliverrian Soccer League decided to undergo format change. So, the teams that were before in 1st and second division reunited to form the First Division and 12 qualifyers, that has become 10 because of the 2 other teams not able to secure money to be able to enter) formed the second division. And, the league finally put his status on "Professional", so that no amateur clubs may enter the league. The Coupe Oliverrienne also underwent changes: All 24 teams were allowed to participate. A first round is held, with the top 8 ranked teams earning a bye. The champion still win the Coupe, but, they don't go in First Division.
