Linford United were formed especially for the second incarnation of the KLF Overleague, made up of two sides that had acquitted themselves relatively well in the Outer Cities Amateur League - Linford Town and Linford Rovers. Since merging, United have been spectacular only at failure, and their relegation came as no surprise as they collected just thirteen points.
