The fifty largest municipalities of the Free Republic of Capitollium, plus three large overseas are listed here by region, with brief descriptions. The two-letter code that follows each city name is the name of the constituency of which the city is part. Capitollium has twenty-five constituencies of equal population drawn each year. One city, Dalmyre, comprises two constituencies, which are hyphenated.

List of cities

Capitollium Valley

The ancient dominions of the Alephite people, though they have disappeared as a distinct race their place-names remain. The Seven Cities, their ancient citadels, are the six largest municipalities of Lower Capitollium (LC), and Andros in Upper Capitollium (UC). Highlands

Northern

Known for its modern cities and thriving commerical and industrial centers, the Northern highland constituencies of Wyndhaven Central (WC), Northkirk-Kilburn (NK), and Outer Wyndhaven (OW) look nothing like the agrarian Highlands to the south. The capital, Wyndhaven, forms its own constituency with several outlying suburbs, Wyndhaven Central.

  • Northkirk, NK
  • Croftburgh, OW
  • Kilburn, NK
  • Starkfield, NK

Central

The rolling fields of the Central Highlands are what many foreigners associate with Gunnlandia, making pristing Highgarden a booming tourist destination. A tremendous geographic expanse, its rocky fields and pastures stretch for miles, interrupted by the large industrial centers of Fraserburgh, Ayr, Highgarden, Perth, and Lanark. The constituencies in this region are Fraserburgh (FB), Ayrshire (AS), Highgarden (HG), Lanarkshire (LS) and Perthshire (PS).

The Sutherland

Overland

Capitollium's poorest area are the southern highlands. Fort Stewart is the main industrial center, rivaled by Westcross and Sunderkirk. Traditionally it was the seat of the Ograda nation who were gradually assimilated into the Gunnish race beginning around 500 B.C. Now it includes the constituency of Lewisshire (LS) and the northern halves of Ostgard and Sunderkirk (OS) and Stormhaven and Westcross (SW).

  • Fort Stewart, LS
  • Sunderkirk, OS
  • Westcross, SW
  • Lewiston, LS

The Coast

Another modernized area is the Coast, it is a stark contrast to the dilapidated industrial centers of the southern highlands. Unlike the rest of the Sutherland, the constituencies of Seaguard (SG), Brighthelm and the Firths (BF), and the southern portions of Ostgard and Sunderkirk (OS) and Stormhaven and Westcross (SW) are benifitting from Capitollium's wealthy, globalized commercial economy.

  • Seaguard, SG
  • Ostgard, OS
  • Brighthelm, BF
  • Jenthport, SG
  • Stormhaven, SW
  • Ryallport, SW

Dalmyre

Dalmyre is heavily populated, especially the twin constituencies Dalmyre East (DE) and Dalmyre West (DW) which comprise the city that is the region's namesake. The three other suburban constituencies in this major urban center are Christchurch (CC), Athenry (AT), and Keldgard (KG).

  • Dalmyre, DW-DE
  • Keldgard, KG
  • Athenry, AT
  • Christchurch, CC
  • Acton, AT
  • Chesterfield, DW
  • Ripafjord, KG
  • Fellthwaite, KG

The Frontier

The East

The east is the largest region by landmass, and includes the rugged frontier of the nation. The constituency of Kvaerness (KV) is especially identified with the sparsely populated East. Slightly more urbanized are Kirkvaerness (KK), this historic capital of Kvaerness that makes up its own constituency, and Caithness (CN), a highland region.

  • Kirkvaerness, KK
  • Bryntreath, CN
  • Rathlaig, KV
  • Auldwood, EP
  • Gilltarn, KV
  • Kaldbeck, KV
  • Glastrelv, CN

Overseas territories

Shahlep, a successor state of Israel-Palestine, is the only Capitollic overseas territory. It is grouped in the 'Frontier' region for simplicity and representation in the Federal Congress.

  • Qetura, SL
  • Hazeva, SL
  • Al-Yahud, SL
