The LoSR-NGA War was the biggest conflict that ever happened in NationStates: Battlegrounds. It involved almost all BG players known at that time. And destroyed most of the forces of those members, what could let new alliances be formed after its end.
The war started as a simple conflict between the two superpowers in the game: Lapse and Swakalakae. But it soon involved their main allies in the game. E-Xtremia (and later Veritasu) allied with Lapse against Swakalakae and PaintballBuddies allied with Swakalakae against Lapse.
When Lapse introduced Battlegrounds to his allies from the League of Small Regions, they created a mutual force for it and subordinated it to the League Armed Forces. As a response to this action, Swakalakae founded the Nation Guard Alliance, which soon got most of the nations playing the game into it. Even though, NGA lost the war.
