The force of Democrats, as they were known, invaded Lucianus and the city was pretty much turned to rubble in the wake of heavy street fighting. Only the Southern end of the city survived, mostly due to the limited amount of Cannons the Democrats had. But even though they all but destroyed Lucianus, they were crushed. Much of there force was captured in a battle 13 miles west of Lucianus 2 months after it's destruction. Most were pardoned due to the good graces of the King, but a few were tried for Treason and hanged. The rebellion was over and Lucianus was being rebuilt, but still resentment boiled in the people's hearts. It was then, 4 months later, that the King Announced the Formation of the Granatian Parliament. A Legislative Body that would voice the people's opinions to the King and help him run the Country.
