Mammaran

Mammaran Allech-Atreus is the eldest son of Emperor Allech-Atreus XVI, and the current heir to the throne.

An intelligent, attractive, and admired man, Mammaran is generally very haughty and self-centered, despite his father's best attempts to instill some humility in him. Mammaran is fully aware that he will someday take the throne, and makes reference to it often.

He dislikes his younger brother, Theran, who is often the focus of the media, rather than Mammaran himself. He lives on Imperia Prime and excercises some of the responsibilites of the Grand Duke of Bizan, but does not hold the title. He generally has no interest in politics, but is intensely interested in anything related to the military or the Fleet. Some politicians regard him as foolhardy and unrealistic, but there is a group of military leaders and conservative politicans who support his succession.

He is currently engaged to Lady Serinia Phelast Keltan, but as is common in the Empire, often takes lovers and has been rumored to hold decadent parties. When he does appear in public, he is dressed in finery and is generally a prima donna.
