The Manushyon Party (the 'y' is generally silent) is the main conservative party of Mokshatiana. Their philosophy is different for the most part from American conservatism. Considering themselves protectors of the people, they hold a general concern for the safety of people, deriving their conservatism from the ideal that conservatism protects the right of the people.

They generally support more socially conservatism ideals as well as a high concern for such ideas as consumer safety and eradication of poverty, which makes them a more populist, economically moderate party rather than a true right-wing one.

Growing out of the more farming public in the early days of the nation, they were the only movement not to have a direct connection to the intelligentsia, although some members of the educated classes championed their cause in the 30's and 40's. Since the Scandal of 1940, they generally began embracing openness a bit more, and have, by now, embraced the ideal of 'neo-conservatism' (different from the American philosophy of the same name), a generally open philosophy closer to classical conservatism, although still rather economically moderate.
