Striker

Marc J. Floren is the most prolific goal scorer in Milchamian history as he leads both the MFL and National Team in goals scored. His played in every national team game from World Cups 23-27 including 3 Cups of Harmony. He was one of the last two original Milchamian players from their first qualification attempt (World Cup 23) to play for the team (along with Silas Milckey). He scored the goals that helped qualify in WC 27 and scored the goal that got the Warriors qualification in WC28 in rather odd circumstances that made him famous throughout the world.

For Club

Floren plays for the Norman Spartans a team that is considered to be one of the top 5 best teams in the MFL. It is usually considered right outside the "big three" of the MFL although two years ago Floren led the team to the title in a huge upset over current title holders Great Alexandria. He scored two goals in the final game including one he beat Kyoga Marcazumi off the dribble before unleashing a 15 yard shot that beat the keeper to win the game. His play has been influential for the Spartans espiecially when they got to the IAFL where he helped them overcome an early season slump to finish 5th in the table.

For Country

Floren was the focal point of the Milchamian offense from World Cups 23-27 where after the cup he retired from international football to extend his career. He scored all the goals in World Cup 23 but one, and in World Cup 24 he became more internationally known as the go to guy for the Milchamian offense. His play from World Cups 25-27 through 27 was pretty consistent, despite changes in strike partners. The team also improved to the point where it was Johnny Rintell who scored the goal that secured qualification for Milchama for the first time against Hypocria in a playoff. Floren's last performance was in the Draggonii Invitational where he helped Milchama overcome a rought start to finish 7th or the best they could have hoped for after the group stage.

Floren has scored 45 goals in his time for Milchama, which makes him the all time leading scorer in Milchama's soccer history. The second place person (Dunston Copperlee) only has 18 goals to his name. Many feel that his goal tally may never be surpassed by another Milchamian striker.

Controversy

Floren got the most attention for his goal in World Cup 28. As he was technically retired he still appeared in one game for the Warriors as he was beamed down by aliens, that he was apprently abducted by, and beat the defense after a nice pass from Dunston Copperlee to score the game winning and qualifying goal against Swilatia. Marc, got a lot of noteriety for what he said afterwards, much of which sounded like incohrent mumblings and rants against various religious groups. These comments got the attention of the monks of the Archregimancy who commented on the situation by asking him to attend several theological discussions in the Archregimancy which he did.

In World Cup 30 he scored a goal on a missile which launched protests from Cuation who called him "an ineligable player." It didn't matter as the goal stood but it did get many Cuation fans and players mad and looking for Floren. He is currently again in the Archregimancy hiding from any potential mobbers and stuff in his own dream bubble.

Legacy

He was the first Milchamian player inducted to the World Cup Hall of Fame. He is also one of the most famous people in Milchama and is considered to be the most important player in Milchama soccer history to this point.
