Marshalliston

History

Marshalliston was the first european colony on the Oliverrian territory. It was founded in 1265 under the name of Oliverry. It became the capital of the country when it was created in 1456. When the first Empire was declared in 1801, the capital moved to Oliver city. In 1904, under the Second kingdom, Marshalliston threatened to secete if they were not granted the title of capital of Oliverry. But a hockey game ruled the problem and Marshalliston became, once again, the capital. This event led to the creation of the Oliverrian Hockey League where Marshalliston was the only original franchise remaining in 2004.
