However, with the income tax rate seemingly stuck at 100%, it may be time for him to step down, and let the businesses take over.

The state of Monacon is a massive, safe nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 2.509 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives.

Government

The pseudo-government is split into two sections, and both are subordinate to the same man, known only as "the Director", though recently his power has been sapped by his old age and various uprisings, dealt with increasingly poorly.
