Morfed
Morfed is a semi-domesticated herd animal which originated on Earth but evolved on the planet Simulak and was returned to Earth Two hundred and fifty million years later with the Simulakians migration back to Earth.
Due to the morfed's peculiar husbandry only a special cast of Simulakians are successful in breeding morfeds and some would say in milking them as well.
Morfed milk is said to have, but not limited to, the following uses:
- Aphrodisiac
- Telepathic enhancer
- Cure for aurgggjht (a Simulakian decease)
- Sensitivity to light
- Enhance night vision
- Enhance ability to pick stocks about to rise in price
- Enhance ability to sell stocks about to fall in price
- Enhance ability to tell when a roulette ball is about to land on double zero
- Cure for stress and recurring nightmares
- Dehabituate (used on addicts, except morfed milk addicts)
Side effects of Morfed milk:
- Is slightly addicting, like chocolate
- Repeated long-term use can cause hallucinations, premonitions and attract poltergeists
Simulakians are officially still researching the benefits of morfed milk, meat and other byproducts. It is believed that the Simulakians are withholding some of the benefits and many of the side effects of morfed milk. They claim that there are over four thousand uses for the common morfed.
Statistics supplied by Simulak state that there are 1500 deaths a year as a result of attempts by non-morfed cast Simulakians trying to milk morfed.
