The Murkadian Nationalist Party (MNP) is a moderate to right party that has had growing support in Murkadia's Parliament. The current Prime Minister from the nation, Fyodor Ivanovich Skorikov is also the leader of the party. The MNP owes much of its success to a coaltion with the Free Markets Party (which has a much more conservative leaning generally). The coalition was formed about 2 years ago and gave the conservatives a majority in Parliament.

Even while the MNP might not be the most popular party in and of itself (the Green Murkadia Party controls more seats), its dominance in the Conservative Coalition has secured it safe position as the controlling party of Murkadia
