Nodic Wars

The Nodic Wars took place among the members of the region 00000 Land of Nod, when the Empire of Allech-Atreus attacked the Austro-Hungarian Empire of Blackledge. The goal of the attack was to force an end to the blockade of Imperial forces engaged in Spain, France, Sicily, Sardinia, and the United Kingdom. The war can be divided into three seperate phases, beginning with the start of the conflict and ending with the defeat of Allech-Atreus and Dark Zion.

Start of Hostilities

The Emperor of Allech-Atreus sent a communique to the First Prince of Blackledge, asking his ally to end the blockade or it would mean war. The First Prince ignored the plea, and dispatched troops to support the forces engaged agaisnt Allech-Atreus

The following day, millions of Imperial troops corssed the borders into Blackledge territory, in Indochina, the Balkans, Russia, Italy, and Africa. Blackledge, occupied with the Elgarve-AG-Blackledge conflict, was unable to diver troops needed to defend himself. After ending the blockade, Imperial forces withdrew from Blackledge territory and focused on their new conquests.

Phase 2

However, the battle would not end here. After Elgarve's nation collapsed and his leaders fled, the region of Nod was forced to reline the government, economy, and communication systems. Due to the collapse of the Most Sovereign Dominion of Ubumedu, the nation was without a leader. For a time, it seemed as though peace would reign.

However, Blackledge had no intention of letting this attack go unpunished. Working behind the scenes to secure support form the Nodic superpowers, as well as recruiting the nations of Honortha and the Human Dominion to support him, the First prince of Blackledge declared war on the Empire of Allech-Atreus and crossed the borders on many fronts. Million of Blackledge troops attacked into the Balkans, millions of Honortha troops attacked Spain, the U.K., Pakistan, and Southern China, and millions of troops from the Empire of AG attacked in Israel and China.

Phase 3

While the Empire was outnumbered anf facing attacks on multiple fornts, they fared surprisingly well, despite setbacks. the attacks have not gone as far as planned, and thanks toa policy of scorched earth, there has not been much gain for the enemies of the Empire. And, thanks to the attacks of the Chtulocracy of Dark Zion against AG's colonial holdings, as well as the mobilisation of the Imperial Reserve, the tide may turned slightly for the better.

However, with Blackedge's government doing everything in their power to prevent an Allech-Atrues victory, the Empire was forced to sue for peace by offering up the newly conquered regions of the former MSD of Ubumedu in exchange for a pullout of troops. Currently, the negotiations are continuing, and the Empire, while knowing that victory is almost impossible, has a few tricks up it's sleeve.

Defeat

Allech-Atreus attempted to throw its civilian population away in futile counterattacks, and all failed. Finally, the Imperial high command activated a last-ditch weapon in an attempt to gain victory. The weapon malfunctioned, and thousands upon thousands of Imperial citizens, technology, and animals,disappeared. The Allech-Atreus royal family committed suicide with the remainder being taken prisoner by Blackledge forces. What remained of the devastated nation became a democracy. The nation of Dark Zion soon collapsed, and peace returned to the region.

Outcome

The Great Nodic War is considered the high water mark of the robust region of 00000 Land of Nod. Tensions had been growing between the remaining nations, and they finally turned on each other. After the Imperial defeat and the disappearance of Allech-Atreus and Dark Zion, the region went into quick decline and has not recovered.
