Nova Norway was created by RuneScape 2007's puppet nation called Jing-Jang at the April 14th 2007. The region is democratic, and the name reflect that the region's political system is based at the real Norwegian one. The region is open for everyone, and doesn't have any ideologi.

Creation
Nova Norway was created because of conflicts and trouble in Norway. The founder of Norway (Lowtax) didn't let the region's elected primeminister and UN-delegate (Gunfreak) the regional control, and then the region got problems. When Gunfreak had choiced a government, he couldn't annonce the result at the regional factbook entry, and he couldn't write in the adress of the regional forum. After some days, one of Norway's nations made the region Nova Norway with Gunfreak as primeminister. Within the same day, many nations (including the whole government) moved to Nova Norway, and Norway's old forum was decleard as the region's official forum.
Forum
Nova Norway's forum is called "Norgespakten" (The Act of Norway in Norwegian), and was - as said before - Norway's forum in the beginning. To vote, the voters have to be registred at the forum, and nobody can vote with telegrams in NationStates. This is the get the citizen to be more active. The forum got three (in fact) official languages: Norwegian (bokmål), Norwegian (nynorsk) and English. The most used language is Norwegian (bokmål).
Political system
Nova Norway is democratic, and the supereme leader is the primeminister, not a president as in many other regions. The largest nations registred at the forum is organizied in the Council of Security (COS). COS has authority over all politics toward the next election. Parties will have seats in the parliment, and COS control these politics:

- Intelligence
- Alliances
- Constitutional politics
- Court
Parties
Nova Norway has several parties:
– The Conservative Party
– The Neutral Party
– The Centre Party
– The Communist Party, former "The Social Democratic Party"
– The Farmer's Union, former "The Progressive Party"
All parties gained seats in the Allting after the last election.
Consitution
The constitution is not ready yet, but the current government is working on it.
Elections
Nova Norway has election every third month at the forum.
After the election of 08. March 2007
Gunfreak won the election with 6 of the 11 votes, and Skatval gained the second place with 5 votes. Because of the problems in Norway, so few voted. The result was later accepted in Nova Norway, and Gunfreak was accepted as the primeminister. This government don't, in fact, have any political power, and the real power lays in the COS. By the way, Waffel SS is the only member of the government that doesn't have a seat in the COS.
The government
The party system hadn't started up yet, so Gunfreak had to choice the government himselves:

- Minister of External Affairs: Skatval
- Minister of Internal Affairs: Waffel SS
- UN-delegate: Gunfreak
After the election of 09. July 2007
The citizens voted for parties, and the parties gained number of seats in The Allting (parliment), based at the results of the election.
Distribution of The Allting
- The Conservative Party - 4 seats
- The Centre Party - 2 seats
- The Neutral Party - 2 seats
- The Communist Party - 1 seat
- The Farmer's Union - 1 seat
- Total - 10/10 seats
The government
The Conservative Party made a government together with The Farmer's Union, and got support of The Centre Party and The Neutral Party. The Communist Party refused to support the government.

Foreign Affairs
Nova Norway has diplomatic realations and alliances with Free Land of Monarchy and Forgotten Prussia. Both are friendship alliances made to better Nova Norway's relations to other regions. The region was also allied with two former regions.
Nova Norway is a member of the inter-regional defence organization Confederacy of Free Regions (COFR).
