Osgiliath

Land of justice, equality and freedom to all peoples. The region of Osgiliath was founded by the Numenoreans, torn apart by the orcs and now remade by Jorthanc, the blessed kingdom.

Osgiliath has many alliances with other regions, it has loyal friends almost everywhere and it is made up of some of the finest nations ever to be founded in NationStates. If it were not for the nations inside, Osgiliath would not be the region it is today, and the region it will become the next day. Osgiliath enjoys an exciting and humorous forum and has never banned anyone (with a few mild exceptions) from its great and glourious lands.

The region of Osgiliath was founded after the Founding Wars, which were fought between the (at the time) young Kingdom of Jorthanc, the evil Empire of Bulter, and the minor nations of Nacinaci, Jonzania and Piehalla. In the wars the allied forces of Jorthanc, Jonzania, Piehalla nad Nacinaci drove back Bulter from their regions, and soon the region known as Bal Heath was made a quiet, peaceful place, where Bulter could not enter. But these days of peace were soon broken. Jonzania left bal Heath, forming the new region, Religious Paradise, and with him went Nacinaci. In the confusion of the divide Bulter reemerged and formed the Real Promised Land, a region which attreacted followers as evilly minded as Bulter. For some time there was peace between these regions, but then war came out again. Jonzania left the game, and with it went Nacinaci, and Piehalla. Jorthanc was left in a pitched battle with Bulter, which raged through various regions and places.After some time, Jorthanc founded Osgiliath, and to it came Duelist Island and Zuper Dogs, both nations who would soon become crucial to the region. Osgiliath fought off Bulter for many days, gaining nations as it fought. Soon Bulter gave in, just as the new arrival of Mordor and Haradwaith arrived. Thus ended the Founding Wars. In the time that followed, Osgiliath was joined by the Northmen, who left not long afterwards when Bulter made a final attempt to overthrow Jorthanc. Zuper Dogs previous region, the Penguin Region, was the next foe of Osgiliath, but it was shortlived and quickly fell to the Osgiliath nations. Since Osgiliath has dwindled in size, and now most of its government operate in secrecy, working in secretive forums and making safe this beloved region.
