Redmire Overwatch Pulse Rifle

A powerful assault rifle used by the "Overwatch" (Redmire Soldiers). The primary fire launches a burst of energy which usually kills with one or two shots. While the Pulse Rifle appears to feed from a box like a conventional machine gun, the "ammunition" is contained in a small plug-shaped body that is loaded directly into the barrel and repeatedly hammered to discharge the energy pulses. When exhausted, the ammo plug is ejected and an automated system feeds and loads another plug into place. The secondary fire shoots an energy orb, which bounces around the environment for 3 seconds, tracking and disintegrating enemies on contact before exploding.
