Paradise Island Murders
The Paradise Island Murders are a story stranger than fiction. Something almost right out of the pages of horror film, not something you often see in real life. But something did happen, and what happend is a grissly string of murders in a sick and twisted game. The object was to lure ordinary people to a tropical island and hunt them like wild game.

Background
Just how the plot came about is still being investigated by INTERPOL but is is belived to be the brain child of a wealthy oil tycoon named Thomas Bellmont. Bellmont called out to hunters all over the world, offering a chance to play a game of hunt, and win a tremendous award. Then Bellmont using his private cruise lines selected random people to be hunted. As to why or how the victems were chosen is still a mystery. Once everything was organized the hunters and victems we're selected. All victems we're lured into beliving they had won an all expenses paid vacation to a remote island in the Pacific. As for the hunters, they were debreifed once they arrived.
The Island offically didn't have a name. It was a small uncharted island in the middle of the sea, leased to Bellmont, and no activitie went on. INTERPOL dubed it Paradise due to it's tranquil tropical setting, and the belife on the victems.
Plot Setup
Once they we're on the island they were given a warm welcome, and had there luggage taken from them, and we're taken to the dining room. They we're given food, which was druged with a sedative and we're put into cages, in a dark cellar. The cages we're unlocked and the prey were given a 24 hour head-start. After they scatterd, the hunters went on there own to find any victems they desired. Most hunters we're eqpuiped with actual game hunting equipment, and hunted these people with actual malice and hunted like they were animals. One victem described the method of a hunter. They we're so malicefull. Their eyes showed no remorse, hesitation, or guilt. It was frightning.-Brooke Thompson, Victem It's unlikely Bellmont actually participated in the hunting, other than organizing it. It isn't known why he did other to see a good game. Young children would be used as bait. Besides Brooke Thompson, all the children we're put into cages along the trail.
Victems
A total of 12 victems went to the island. All most all we're untrained and unprepared for a survival. However they say the will to survive is instinctive. While most we're split up, they helped each other to survive.
- Sam Sampson-Killed?
Little is known about this man. It's belived he was killed fairly early on, but details are still sketchy. It isn't known if he was actually killed by a hunter of a natural source. The island was known to have swift undercurrents, steep grades, and fast rivers. His body wasn't recoverd, but he was on Bellmont's list.
- Dirk Pitt-Killed
Dirk was previously arrested for hacking. However he had no history of violent crime. He was shot and killed in a cave by Maria Santiago. Three shots in the arme and one to the head.
- Jonas Hastings-Survied
Jonas is a police officer. All his life he wanted to do good and protect people and the law. His job proved to be stressful, especially with he trying to become a detective. He's generally a nice guy but tough. He recieved a letter in the mail that he won a contest and needed the vacation.
- Jason Thompson-Killed
Jason along with his daughter Brooke were the only two of their family who went. Jason was a game hunter back at his home, however it was mostly game like deer, rabbits, and foxes. He had no weapons on him, but his hunting skills proved to be usefull to help him and his daughter survive. Jason attempted to sneak back into the mantion, and retrive a satalite phone he recalled finding on the ship. Jason was shot to death by Nathan Lyon.
- Brooke Thompson-Survived
Brooke and her father were both hunted by Nathan Lyon, more than any other hunter. She recalls a frenzy fire by Wolverstone, when she her father and Jannet escaped into the stream. She escaped along with the children, and other survivors.
- Benjamin Stone-Survived
Ben Stone was amongs the most crafty of the prey. He helped gather his family together and saw to it everyone got off the island. He was a Lt Colonel in the U.S. army, amazingly which likley helped him and his family survive.
- Daphine Stone-Survived
Daphine Stone is wife of Ben Stone. She was a pacifistic housewife who never dreamed of the crimes comitted on the island. Ben and Daphnie together had their five kids along with them.

- Sean ???-Survived
Sean is also an unknown player into this. Although he did contribute greatly to INTERPOL, his full name and most of his statistics are unknown. So are his current wearabouts. INTERPOL lost track of him. However this is known. Sean is likely the one who killed Bellmont, and may have taken additional hunters with him. He also burned the mansion to the ground. In a shocking twist of events, he was actually helped by Jason Hart.
- Leah Walsh-Belived Killed
Detalis of her death are unknown. Her body was never recoverd.
Potental Victems
These Victems never went through the Hunt do to never arriving on the island
- Sari Ehat
Sari was on Bellmonts list, but was never hunted. She missed the boat to take her to the island, and seeing as Bellmont's boat was his privately owned there was no return trip. She simply went home and never thought twice about it.
- Ken Waldbaum
An experienced solider likely would have had the most advantage. However he never went due to post-war trama that forced him to stay close to home.
The Hunters
There were a total of 4 hunters involved. While theat certianlly didn't out number the victems, they we're highly experienced.
- Thomas Bellmont-Killed on the Island
Bellmont is the mastermind behind the huntings. While he didn't do any of the hunting himself he was a game hunter in his early days, and may have done such things before. However he was killed on the island. While it is belived Sean killed him, others speculate either Maria, or Jason killed him. It is also possible he killed him self.
- Jason Hart-AT LARGE
Jason Hart is belived to be one of the more experienced of hunters, and has a romantic relationship with a fellow hunter Maria Santiago. Hartt spent some time in the Ostian special forces unit known as JTAF(Joint Tactical Assult Force). He was imprisoned for 4 years in a maximum sercurity military dentention center for going against orders on a black ops mission which resulted in the deaths of 12 innocent people.
When Hartt was released Bellmont hired him for sercurity reasons, but then informed him that he would make more money if he would use his skills for a new game they had made up for their intertainment. Hartt agreed when he was told how much money he would receive. Hart was also one of the ones the victems rember seeing the most. Brooke Thompson recalled fleeing through a cave, and being persuded very closely by someone. It turned out to be Hart and Santiago. In a last hour of the hunt, Hart had Sean cornerd with no where to run. Not to mention Sean was already injured, however he let him go instead.
- Maria Santiago-AT LARGE
Maria Santiago was also the most notorious hunter of the island. Kicked out of her home in Texas when she was 16, Maria has climbed her way from a poor hispanic girl to being at least for now, middle class. However, the young woman wants more and with her lust for all things material, greed, power and money she'll do anything to get it; even kill. Maria was outwardly nice, kind and friendly as well as polite but innwardly she's always skeeming. Although at first she was a bit put off but when she saw how much money she got for that person's life she was ok by it. She likes the chace, but it's the money for Maria.
Maria was the one who killed Dirk Pitt, and nearly killed Jason Thompson in the cave.
- Wolfgane Wolverstone-Found Dead in His Appartment from Sucide
Nothing is known about Wolverstone even in death. He was known as a hand-to-hand combat expert, and likely a skilled marksman. During the hunt, Stone, and Thompson recall Wolverstone literally busting out of the water shooting in all directions. It is the most haunting memory for Stone and Thompson to this day.
- Nathon Lyon-Found Dead
INTERPOL was on the trail for Lyon for quite sometime, but eventually lost track. A Red Notice is still on him, but it is possible he is dead, but many still have doubts.
Scape Goat Captures
For a long while INTERPOL had thought they had finally apprehend Santiago and Hartt, however in a shocking discovery, the supposed couple they captured were nothing more than a pair of scape goats. Because there was no DNA Evidence to match up, Interpol had to go buy their confessions (which had remarkable detail that only could come from them) The two whom were capture were actually good freinds of Santiago and Heart and took the fall for them. Both looked incredibly like them and somehow they managed to fool the finger print id scan. This may have been atributed to faulty equipment, but offically it is still under investigation as to why.
