Parliament of Bisburgh
The Parliament of Bisburgh is the legislative branch of government within Bisburgh. It consists of two chambers: the 'House of Representatives' and the 'Senate'.

House of Representatives
The House of Representatives is the 'lower house' and is considerably more powerful than the Senate. the House of Representatives passes most law and is a watchdog over the Cabinet and Prime Minister (which is formed from this chamber). There are 612 'Representatives' elected under the first past the post system.

Progressive Labour Party formed a Government with a 142 seat majority.
Senate
The Senate is the 'upper house' and has loose powers. It forms the Presidential advisory group known as the 'Chief Advisory Council' and passes Bills already passed by the House of Representatives. Four hundred directly elected Senators form the chamber.
