Pemberle Island is an Island of Vigorithia located on the Southern Eastern Side of the country.
History
Pemberle Island was only discovered in the 14th Century, and wasn't settled on until the 16th Century. The history of this island is very small, in the 17th Century a small riot by the rebellious Pemberlians sent the Island into Anarchy for a few days.
The Military are highly concentrated here and airbases were built here a while back.
Politics
The Islands Politics are based on the happenings on Vigorithia with the acts of the countries parliament and the local country parliament with Pemberle Island.
Pemberle Island is a part of the Eastern Region, although Pemberlians are challenging the Vigorithian Government into making it a county of it's own with it's own individual laws. The Pemberlian-Eastern local Parliament cannot enact local laws without consulting the Eastern Region for permission.
Geography
The hilly Pemberle Island is nothing like the rest of Vigorithia. Pemberle was formed by a Volcanic Eruption millions of years back. Because of this, it is a very hilly island and swampless compared to the rest of Vigorithia.
The location of Pemberle is not expected to change, and it is getting further and further away fro m Vigorithia.
The Islands Landmass is of 1,004km. 2% of Vigorithia's population is resided on Vigorithia, and 73% of the Islands population lives in the main town.
Economy
The Economy of Pemberle focuses mainly on Fishing, Trade and Tourism. The Island is becoming richer all the time.
Demographics
Most of the population speak Vigorithian and English. 0.2% speak Altarian as their everyday language. The religions there is Bi-Biblucism, which is dominant.
