History

Petróleo Future was founded in 1965, under the name Corson Fuel Services, by Greg Corson (current owner of The Corsen Group). After a good start to the company, and substantial profits, the company was sued by Martail Haseth after she developed a brain tumor from inhaling petrol fumes from the forecourt that she owned in 1981. After winning T41,000,000 and sending Petróleo Future deep into the red Martail Haseth later died from her brain tumor. Facing bankruptcy Greg Corson sold Corson Fuel Services to the current owner Alejandro Raul, in 1984, who changed it's name to Petróleo Future in 1986.
