The Imperial Party was formed under Imperial Emperor Draconius and generally follows the will of the Emperor. This party has held continuous control of the Senate since its formation. The Imperial Party has strong capitalist economic views, usually credited as creating the strong Zyrconian economy. The Imperial Party is slowing allowing more political freedoms and increasing civil rights.

The Reform Party focuses on reform legislation to remove the dictatorship in Zyrcon and install democracy. The party was created only days after the Imperial Party, making it the second oldest political party in Zyrcon. The Reform Party intends to free civil rights and allow more political freedoms, something which the Imperial Party is reluctant to do.

The Communist Party was formed in 2007 and currently focuses on issues relating to communist social ideology and economic control. The majority of Communist Party seats are in the House of Representatives.
