Prince Carl Eugen of Paley (Carl Eugen Alexander Paul Arthur Nikolaus) (August 9, 1927-), is a member of the Alessandrian Royal Family, grandson of the current King Philipp II, and the youngest child and only son of Prince Nikolaus, Duke of Paley. Like his sisters, he is officially known by his two first names, though in the family, he is called Carl.

Prince Carl was born at Schloss Ehrenburg, his parents' primary residence, to Prince Nikolaus, Duke of Paley, the younger son of King Philipp and Queen Elisabeth, and the former Countess Catherine Hausenbeck de Arheny. He has three older sisters, Marie Elise, Marie Christine, Marie Alexandra. As a grandchild of the monarch and son of the Duke of Paley, he is styled His Royal Highness Prince Carl Eugen of Paley. Although Carl is styled HRH, his sisters are styled HH. As per the Theodorian Law, only the children of the reigning monarch, children of the Crown Prince, and grandsons and great-grandsons of the reigning monarch in the line of succession are styled Their Royal Highness. Carl's sisters, as females and daughters of a younger son, are thus not Royal Highnesses, while their cousin, Princess Arabella of Iksander, as daughter of the Crown Prince, is.
