Prince of Antropolis

Prince of Antropolis is the title usually given to heir-apparent of the Throne of Edenburg. The wife of a Prince of Antropolis is given the the title "Princess of Antropolis. This title can only be held by the eldest son of a monarch who is also the heir-apparent. The daughter of sovereign cannot recieve this title even if she is the eldest child. This is exactly the reason why Princess Marie, the eldest daughter and heir apparent to the throne is not "Princess of Antropolis".

History

This ancient title dates back a for over a thousand years. The Principality of Antropolis was once an independent state that was founded around 980 A.D. The first prince was Ædgar the Tall. At the time, Princes of Antropolis could be compared with Sovereign Princes, however when Antropolis was incorporated into the Kingdom of Edenburg, that title came under the crown and it hasn't belonged to a native Antropolisite since.

Princes Today

Today, the title "Prince of Antropolis" is the most senior of the royal titles with the exception of the monarch and consort. Although the title is given at the discretion of the sovereign, a Prince of Antropolis also holds the title, Duke of Christianbourg and Count of San Paradis. These titles are automatically given to the eldest son who is the eldest child. The Prince of Antropolis recieves 100,000 EB Dollars annually from the Duchy of Christianburg. The last Prince was the current monarch, Edward VI.
