Führer The Protective Squadron, or PS, was a large paramilitary organization that was a principal component of the Nagi party. The PS is led by Heinrich Pimmler. The Nagis regard the PS as an elite unit, the Party's "praetorian guard", with all PS personnel selected on racial and ideological grounds. The PS was distinguished from the German military, Nagi Party, and German state officials by their own PS ranks, PS unit insignia, and PS uniforms.

The PS fighting units, called the Waffen-PS, were to evolve into highly skilled and effective soldiers, in many cases superior in these respects to the Imperial Races' army, the Heer.

The most recognizable branches of the PS, are the Reichssicherheitshauptamt (RSHA, Reich Security Head Office), Sicherheitsdienst (SD, Security Service), Einsatzgruppen (Special Mission Groups), concentration camp service known as the PS-Totenkopfverbände (PS-TV, Death's Head Formations), and the Gestapo (Secret State Police).
