Society and government have been organized according to a feudal hierarchy, public loudspeakers constantly tell citizens they are "happy people", citizens are regularly shot for parking on the double-yellow line, convicted felons are forced into slavery for their crimes, it's a common sight to see angry commuters with grenade launchers mounted on their vehicles, membership in the state-owned Church of Psyker Bearzerkers is mandatory and all other faith organizations are banned, jails have become colloquially known as 'vampire houses'. Military spending is on the increase, Psyker Bearzerkers's army is full of 2 metre tall super-soldiers, the army's shirt ninjas are the most feared assassins in the region and newborns are being raised as mindless killing machines.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Psyker Bearzerkers's national animal is the PsyBear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the PsyOre.
