People's Army Organisation

The People's Army is organised into three types of divisions:

  • Armoured divisions, which are comprimised of around 23,000 personnel, and are equivalent to a mechanised infantry brigade.
  • Infantry divisions, which are comprised of around 20,600 personnel, and include light infantry and airborne units.
  • Lance divisions, which are comprised of around 24,400 personnel, and are based around the Lance family of vehicles.

In addition, there are combat support and service support modular divisions. Combat support divisions include Aviation divisions, which come in heavy and light varieties, and Fires (artillery) divisions. Service support divisions come in several varieties and serve the standard support role in an army. Further, there are units known as Combined Arms Corps or CAS', which are temporary field units, comprised of whatever divisions are needed. Their size can range anywhere from two to eight divisions. This is not to be comprised with the Regional Corps, which are permanent fixtures, though not deployed as a whole.

The People's Army is organised thusly:

  • People's Army Central Command, headquartered at Fort Delaflote in Silvergrove. It holds seniority over all other commands, and houses the Secretary of the People's Army's and People's Army Chief of Staff's offices.
