Overview
The Great Patriotic War, as it is known in Questers, or King William's War, as it is known in Juumanistra, was one of the most destructive wars in modern history that was not resolved with a giant nuclear exchange. The war was a giant political disaster for King William III, the reigning Monarch of Questers at that time, who committed suicide before the war could end. Although the war was considered <juum edit here> in Juumanistra, in Questers it was heralded as a defeat. The Questarian people were significantly humbled and the war did much to reduce the reputation of Questers as a superpower in international politics. Later, Questarian generals would be heavily criticised for their use of human wave tactics in the Battle of The Locke and their disregard for human life.
