The Quillar is the national currency of The Armed Republic of Lush Green Fields. All monetary transactions in the country are carried out in this unit.

Origin

On 16th November 1858, King Hewer III was overthrown in a revolution. On 18th November, the interim government established this new currency system. Quillar literally means wealth in the tribal language of the natives of Lush Green Fields.

The government set up three mints where silver and bronze were smelted and made into coins.

In 1904, it was decided that large amounts of money would be represented by paper money. The notes were now printed in the very same mints, while lesser denominations were now represented by nickel coins.

Appearance

All denominations of the paper money are of the same size, with different colours for different values. A small vertical strip runs down near the edge of each note with the words, Lush Green Fields Mint. The denomination is printed on the upper-right corner of the note. The logo of Lush Green Fields is in the center and below it is printed the motto of the nation Bow Down To Your Masters. On the other side, the denomination is printed in words on the upper-left side. A little to the right of the center are the following words: I swear on the sacred fields to pay the bearer the sum of (denomination in digits) Quillars
