The Reformed Church Of The Goddess (RCOTG)is the largest religeon in PEEL. It surrounds the story of Tarunga Leela as composed by the Gosples of St Milos and St Hudsen. It most famous story is that of St Phillipe and the demon Wernsaba.

Extract from the Gospel of St Milos

For years the lands of Ilkuknuis had been ravaged by an evil demon of the name Wernsaba his evil penetrated the hearts of even the bravest of men. Then, the one known as Phillipe came. Phillipe challanged the great demon 'Your evil is at an end, vile creature, be gone from this land lest you feel the terrible sting of my sword.' The demon simply laughed. After a bloody battle the great Wernsaba was defeated, his foulness gone from the lands of Ilkuknuis forever more.

Other gospels spoke of this battle in greater detail. For many followers of the RCOTG this story is the most central part of their faith so much so that the sytem of dates that is commonly used in PEEL is reconed from the supposed date of this famous battle.
