During a period of internal troubles within the UNFR an invasion and occupation by the Republican Brotherhood was defeated and the natives stirred into revolt by North Cadia, with the enemy repulsed and forced out of the UNFR a 'cold war' has developed. In respect to the fallen soldiers and civilians during the occupation the Memorial for the fallen of the UNFR rebellion was constructed and is the site of annual ceremonies, in addition it has become the symbolic focal point of pro-North Cadian factions within the UNFR.
The UNFR rebellion remains as a region, in memory of the great war that changed the future of UNFR.
