The River Rhea runs from the Great North Range in northern Iluvauromen to the Southern Turath Peninsula in Ax-turath. At its widest point it is three miles across, but is a fairly slow-moving river with few dangers. It is navigable for most of its length, and flows through the large city of Turath.

The river is approximately six hundred miles in total length, including meanderings, and has twenty-six tributaries, the two largest of which are the Mantoth and Gibur rivers. The river rapid flows out of the Rhea, heading in a westerly direction, creating between the two rivers the fertile Rhea-Rapid Delta - the site of the Turath AgLands.
