The Ross Ice Shelf is 600 - 3000 feet thick, about 600 miles long (the size of France) and fed by no less than seven ice streams. The cliffs at the waters edge are about 200 feet high. The Ross Ice Shelf region encourages tourism. We provide 1337 ice fishing and penguin poking.
