Saidercray Today is a daily newspaper that is commonly read all over Saidercray.

Structure and style

Saidercray Today subdivides into five sections: National And International Politics, Economy, Culture, Sports, Provincial News. Whilst the contents of the first four sections are identic in all copies of one day, the fifth section provides the readers with news from their home province. Therefore, the fifth section's contents differs in the provinces of Saidercray.
Saidercray Today usually endeavours to write in an unbiased way and includes a lot of quotations into its articles. At the end of an article, the author usually evaluates the events the article reports on and weighs possible future developments - a practice that may be compared to the reporter's statement at the end of many reports in TV news. The last paragraph is therefore often more subjective than the foregoing ones. The appearance of a copy of Saidercray Today is clearly dominated by letters. On an average, there is one medium-sized picture per two pages, yet this picture is at any rate coloured. For the sake of a better orientation, the different sections are optically discriminated by coloured frames at the pages' edges - blue for National and International Politics, green for Economy, orange for Culture, red for Sports and black for Provincial News.
