Saladin Al-Ishmael

Beginnings

Saladin was on NS for 2 years before serving the Aeazen combine and gaining his name. He was allegdedly an Invader King and Emperor in regions before service, but not much else is known and his past is shrouded in secrecy...

Service in the Combine

Saladin join the Aeazen combine in late March 2007, after being introduced to Aeazer by a friend. He was immediately promoted to Brig. General and given a small force to command. He also became the 11th of the "Eleven Madmen of the Combine".

First Franco-Aeazen War

Not long after joining the Combine, Saladin was immediately ordered to go into France with a small force in an invasion attempt. While posing as a French Nationalist, even going so far as to speak in French only, while his force and other entered the region. Unforunately, the Delegate of France was tipped off about the invasion and the Aeazen Force was deleted and cast into the Rejected Realms.

The Lull

After the disgraceful defeat in France, Saladin left to wonder the NS world in a lull that lasted several months. It was during this lull that Saladin learn of certain Dossiers and Databases that Regions used for national rankings and regional rankings. However, Saladin immediately saw the potential use of them as Mission Finders and Intellegence gatherers for invasions. This Realization would be put to use shortly thereafter.

The Promotion

After a chance meeting with Aeazer not long after the relationzation about databases, Saladin showed his new ideas to the General and Aeazer was immediately intriged. After taking on the roll of mission finder and strategist, Saladin's status in the Combine rose considerably.

The Second Franco-Aeazen War

Putting the databases to work, a mission was planned straight-away for France, at Saladin's personal request for revenge. Saladin was put in charge of planning the whole operation, the force was put under his control, and he was declared the pointman. The sudden command was a shock to Saladin, who did his best to use it efficently. On the day of the invasion, Saladin and a considerably small force intered the region waiting for reinforcements. However, poor communications and misunderstandings caused the reinforcements to show up late, and the disorderly Aeazen Force was defeated. However, instead of being disgraced again, Saladin used massive reforms to help orgainize the combine.

Recent Events

Saladin has recently gotten involved in the re-creation of the Aeazen Combine forum and the reorganization of the Army. He was recently promoted to Head of the Army, and is working with Aeazer on more missions to return the combine to its former glory.

CoS-RLA War

After the CoS and the RLA declared war, the AC found itself in the fighting on the side of the CoS. In the fighting for the region of Marxist Leninist Party, Saladin's command help pull reinforcements into the fight and AC troops under his Command help see the CoS victory there. This helped Solidify Saladin's position in the AC, as it was his first major victory there.
