Shakal Imperial Law
Imperial Law as it exists in the Shakal Empire is a simple set of 25 basic laws that cannot be changed by anyone. They include some of the less specific concents such as marraige and the peoples say in government.
Article 1:
No Shakal ruler shall ever have the power to change Imperial Law.
Article 2:
The Shakal people have the rght to live unless the populace and ruler deem the death necessary for the protection of the state.
Article 3:
None shall stand against the state, none shall demean the state, and none shall be seperate from the state.
Article 4:
The state has the power to declare war as it pleases.
Article 5:
The union of a man and a woman is absolute unto death.
Article 6:
The ruler of the state owns all within the state.
Article 7:
None shall demean the ruler or the state.
Article 8:
The only presence higher than the state is the presence of the one true god.
Article 9:
The ruler of the supreme state shall respect the false gods of those within the state.
Article 10:
Supreme military command lies in the hands of the Emperor.
Article 11:
The state police must bow to the force of the SS. The SS shall exist as an entity that is only answerable to the state.
Article 12:
The wages of the peasants is taxable to 60% of there income.
Article 13:
A female ruler of the state must marry within 30 days of coronation or forfiet the crown.
Article 14:
All persons within the state must have a minor say to the state for all matters of the mob opinion.
Article 15:
Minorities within the state are equal to the Shakal in all but name.
Article 16:
Women shall serve the state as equals to men.
Article 17:
Women of the night shall be allowed to practice there arts.
Article 18:
Each child born to a married couple is rewarded with 50 gold pieces as a gift from the state.
Article 19:
Children are to be handled with care & not subject ti heavy labour at the hands of the state unless a danger is imminent.
Article 20:
Military men shall not plunder enemy spoils before the permission of the state is given.
Article 21:
In the matters of war, unless the state sees fit, none shall run.
Article 22:
Prisioners are to be treated as well as the enemy of the state treats Shakal prisioners.
Article 23:
Each citizen of the Empire is entitled to a basic education.
Article 24:
The state shall call upon every citizen to defend the homeland. Each Shakal also must serve at least 100 days per year i the service of the state.
Article 25:
The Imperial Iron Cross with Wings, Diamonds & Golden Oak Leaves is the highest award given for military valour.
