Sheikh Abdul Rahman

Life

Sheikh Abdul Rahman was born in Abu Kamarran in 1965. His father Sheikh Al Alum was the Sheikh of Al Khalidha from 1965-1993. Abdul Rahman graduated from the University of Abu Kamarran in 1985 with a degree in law. He pursued his career in the Government by taking the position of Minister of Defence in 1987. He remained Minister of Defence until 1993, when his father died and he succeeded on becoming the leader of Al Khalidha. Throughout his reign he has improved the Al Khalidhan economy a lot and now it has the largest GDP Per Capita in the region. Al Khalidha also has the fastest growing economy of the region and is seeking to become a prime international economic leader. He currently resided in his palace in Abu Kamarran with his wife and three children.
