The region of Sludgia ranges from tropical in the north to sub-arctic in the south. Roughly half of the thousands of islands that dot the area have been turned into animal preserves, with polluting industries regulated into oblivion.
The leading nation of Sludgia is Keepoutaya, which was also its original founder. Its people are known for their environmentally friendly tree-cities, which are invisible to satellites because they emit no heat.
The UN has been banned from Sludgia, and only non-UN members are allowed to move to Sludgia. UN delegates are welcome to visit for short periods of time.
