His Beatitude Patriarch So'ona IV. Peba (b. 1909) is the curent Patriarch of the Desh Roman Catholic Church since 1999 and was a "Peoples Defense leader"-ergo leader of the various pro government paramilitairy organisations (SNO , AAF , GGI , BFB ) in The Desh Junta of 1989 .
He joined the Desh Roman Catholic church in 1929.He was ordained a priest in 1961.In 1978 he became Titular Roman Catholic Bishop of Great Yon .In 1983 he became the Bishop of Mungjyo and in 1987 the Bishop of Diyako .In 1989 he became a part of the ruling junta.
In 1994 General Muhhamad Sözai Everem organised his promotion to Archbishop of Yalda .He served as such until he was promoted to Patriarch after the death of Patriarch Hammiyaz IV. of Desh .
