The Republic of Speed Demon

The republic was started by Floyd. He was a rebulious youth with his own idea, different from the elders. Floyd was strong, out going, very demanding in his ideas.

It was written that Floyd would challenge the tribe elders often. Demanding change for him and his people. The elders just ignored him. Floyd wanted to be able to belive what he wanted, say what he wanted to and do as he pleased.

Floyd believed in a strong goverment for the people, by the people. Floyd did not want all the power just able to change it when he and his followers saw fit.

On the last challenge of the elders about the loyal armadillo, when the elders were going to stomp out the rodents, has the elders belived. Floyd reacted! He got his followers, marched to the temple and demanded the armadillo be saved, the elders called for his head.

Floyd and his followers fled to present day Texas. They had gathered the armadillos and took them with. Caring for the creatures.
